A renowned Coast-based Kenyan musician, Ally B, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023; his death left the Kenyan music industry in mourning and loss.
Ally B’s actual cause of death is unknown. The mellow-voiced singer was brought to the hospital in Mombasa, Kenya, where he was rushed and pronounced dead at the hospital. Sources claim that high blood pressure was the cause of Ally B’s death.
However, Ally B had been treated for pneumonia a few days ago and was released from the hospital, but he was feeling unwell and had complications today. It seems his pressure went up, and he was rushed to the hospital, but unfortunately, he passed away due to difficulties while travelling.
Ally B had spent his day at Kilifi doing his regular errands before his untimely death. His death was announced today, on November 1, on social media. According to Mombasa-based blogger Mykol Machampali, “Ally B died while being transferred to the Coast General Teaching and Referral Hospital.”
Pepe Digital has confirmed his death news through a Facebook post, which stated:
“Ally B has passed away. Ally B, a musician from Mombasa, has died. According to his brother Mohammed Ramadhan, he died on Wednesday afternoon at the coast general, teaching, and referral hospital.”
The post also stated that, according to his brother Mohammed, “Ally B arrived home in the afternoon and said he was not feeling well. We took him to Makadara, but he did not make it. “Ally B was well known for his songs, such as Bembea, Maria, and Kadzo, among others.
