Cody Ring, a former Special Handling Air Cargo at the United States Air Force, died unexpectedly on Monday, December 11, 2023, leaving family and friends profoundly aggrieved and community grappling with shock and grief. Who was Cody Ring?
Cody Ring, affectionately known as Cub, was a brilliant woman who had served her country with her dedication. She was a former Special Handling Air Cargo at the United States Air Force from December 1984 to February 1992. She was appointed to heavy equipment operation, including paperwork and computer-generated reports, at the 21st headquarters in Langley, Virginia. She was also assigned with training and overseeing airmen after she made NCO.
She was committed to helping others and serving her community to the best of her ability. She studied Emergency Medical Services at Blue Mountain Community College from 1992 to 1993, a testament to her dedication to serving her nation. She also studied at the Community College of the Air Force.
