Kim had been taken to Temeke Hospital in Dar es Salaam with a fever and COVID-like symptoms. Medical professionals declared that Kim had suffered respiratory issues, including pneumonia, that ultimately led to her death.
As per her husband’s friend BNB’s statement to the media, “We took her to the hospital, and Kim stayed in a regular ward for a few days, breathing with the assistance of an oxygen machine, until four days, when her health deteriorated, Kim was shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).”
