Kabamba, a signed musician with Alpha Entertainment, passed away on August 28, 2023, in a terrible turn of events. The unfortunate demise of Kabamba, a talented rapper who left an enduring impact on the business, left the Zambian music industry in mourning.
Fans and other musicians are shocked by his unexpected death, his death cause has not yet been determined. Kabamba had been active on social media the day before, giving no hint of the catastrophe that would soon take place.
His death news was announced through social media, and Zembia’s official page, I Love Zed Music, delivered the heartbreaking news of his departure today with sorrowful hearts.
“TRAGIC NEWS – Kabamba, a musician from Zambia, dies. The cause of death will shortly be made public.”
On the Zed Pamulomo Facebook group, Kabamba’s pals broadcast live as they transported him to Levy Mwanawasa Hospital when he became dangerously ill. This was all about just two weeks ago.
According to reports, Kamamba died of his short-term illness, for which he was hospitalized at the Levy Mwanawasa Hospital in Lusaka’s Chainama Hills neighborhood is the cause of his death.
He was seen in a wheelchair as friends and well-wishers visited him at the hospital. The music industry is mourning the unexpected loss and looking for explanations.
Kabamba can be seen in a wheelchair in a viral photo of him posted by Falz Kuchalo; he also wrote about his Illness on Facebook:
“One more member of the Zambian music community has passed away. On August 28, 2023, Kabamba, who had previously been signed to the record company Alpha Entertainments, passed dead. His short-term illness for which he was hospitalized at the Levy Mwanawasa Hospital in Lusaka’s Chainama Hills neighborhood is the cause of his death.R.I.P. King.”
Kamamba is well known for his Zambian music; he sang many hit songs throughout his career. Outside of music, Kabamba devoted his life to assisting the less fortunate members of society. However, this post claims nobody helped him when he was ill.
During this challenging time, our thoughts are with his family and loved ones. His funeral and burial customs have not been announced publicly.

RJ Justin Chiluba Chewe Jr. posted Kabamba’s photo and wrote about his charities in the following statement:
“If you’ve been following this man, his name is Kabamba, and he used to walk the streets aiding those who were hungry, homeless, and otherwise in need, assisting them, providing wheelchairs for those who cannot walk, He never knew that death was approaching and was about to take his life; those who help are dying; this world is not good.
He even helped an older man at Mazyopa who had no one to care for him, but he was no longer there. Only Jehovah has the power to wipe away our tears, and I have faith that he will bring an end to death. Let your plan be completed quickly. Hopefully, I’ll see you soon, boss. Best wishes to the family.”
Blessed Son paid tribute through his post:
“It breaks my heart to inform you all that #Kabamba, a rapper from #KOPALASWAG, passed away this morning. For so long, up until his passing, #KABAMBA helped the needy, the sick, the lame, the disabled, the needy, the vulnerable (orphans), the single mothers, the divorced, etc. RIP, Kabamba. May His Soul Rest In Peace.”
We bid farewell to this young king, whose brilliance and spirit touched many with heavy hearts. His legacy will forever remain in the Zambian music industry. Prayers for Kabamba; may he get peace in the afterlife.
