Amy Elder, a 44-year-old entrepreneur and bookkeeper from Georgia, was reported missing, prompting a thorough search by family and officials. Shortly after the search, she was discovered dead on Sunday, October 1, 2023. Her death was confirmed by her husband, Seth Cohen, in a post on social media. He thanked everyone for their prayers, concerns, and the love for his family and said he was grieved for the loss of his beloved wife and joyful that she is with God now. He said,

“Today has brought the most painful and simultaneously joyful news of my life. My bride of 22 years went to be with Jesus today.

I am already filled with grace upon grace and unexplainable peace, but I appreciate your continued prayers for my family.”

She enjoyed movies like ‘License to Drive,’ ‘Pretty in Pink,’ ‘Can’t Buy Me Love,’ and ‘Girls Just Want to Have Fun.’ Shows like ‘Friends’ brought joy to her, and she was a fan of romantic stories like ‘The Notebook,’ and ‘Titanic.’ She had a fantastic sense of humour and loved comedians like Trey Kennedy, Tim Hawkins, and John Crist.
