Ocean Springs, Mississippi – The tragic passing of Aubreigh Paige Wyatt, the adored daughter of Heather Wyatt, a renowned educator in the Ocean Springs School District, has shocked the close-knit community of Ocean Springs.
Aubreigh was a 13-year-old girl and Ocean Springs Middle School’s 8th grade student. She was going through with depression after getting bullied from her classmates and friends, she died after committing suicide in a result of bullying.
Aubreigh Paige Wyatt was a happy young girl who cherished her relationships with her family, friends, and classmates. Heather, Aubreigh’s mother and a dedicated third-grade teacher in the Ocean Springs School District, served as inspiration.
In spite of her seeming happiness, Aubreigh was actually depressed. She cut herself on Monday, September 4, 2023, and committed suicide, Aubreigh’s death was declared by her mother Heather Wyatt, through Facebook.
The community has been shocked by the news of Aubreigh Paige’s demise, which has led to an outpouring of support and sympathies for her mourning family.
According to The Ocean Middle Scene, money is being gathered to support Aubreigh’s family during this trying time. A fundraiser planned by Ocean Springs Girls Softball brought the neighborhood together in support of the Wyatt family and in prayer. In Ocean Springs, questions about developing child bullying awareness have taken centre stage general grieving.
The tragic death of Aubreigh Wyatt has highlighted the urgent need for compassion when it comes to depression. The Wyatt family and the Ocean Springs community are urging everyone to work together to support others who might be fighting their inner battles.
