Bryce James Fahey, a 15-year-old boy expecting a child, died in a car accident on Bungary Road, Norah Head, on the Central Coast of New South Wales, on Sunday morning, around 3 am, September 10, 2023. He was travelling with a friend, another teenage boy, 15, in an allegedly stolen car, a Mazda 6 Sedan, when it crashed into parked cars.

Bryce died in the car, while his friend was found on the road seriously injured. He was transferred to the hospital. The friend is in stable condition.

Who was Bryce Fahey?

Bryce was expecting a child with his girlfriend. He loved to play football. He played in West Brisbane Junior Rugby League Club in 2022 in under 14’s game. He belonged to a big, hearty family who loved him very much. Everyone is heartbroken by the sad news of his sudden, unexpected death.

His father, Geof Fahey, announced the tragic news of his departure with a heavy heart in a post on social media that said,

“When u came a long son my heart melted as the years went by we had some awesome amazing memories good time fun trips great holidays watching you play the sport u loved football,” he continued, “today would be the hardest day of my life getting that phone call the dreaded call to say your son has been in a car accident an it’s not good so I go down to spent what time I had left with you my boy letting u know I’m here,” “we all love you to the moon and then the stars and back again son fly hi RIP my boy until we meet again, words cart express how I feel that one choice to go with your mate ended yours we all football crew school friends family mum an dad an siblings love u buddy don’t ever forget it son Bryce, for ever.”

A GoFundMe page has been organized.

A GoFundMe page has been organized to help his family raise funds. The goal is set at 15,000 dollars. The funds will go to his parents to help his family with his funeral arrangements and say their final goodbyes with dignity and grace. And the rest will go to his girlfriend to help her raise the baby she is about to have.

Police ask for citizen’s cooperation.

An investigation is underway regarding the accident. Joel Durrington, a man on social media, claimed that the car Bryce was in belonged to his mother. She was not home when unknown teenagers allegedly ‘hotwired and stole’ her car.

New South Wales police confirmed that they are investigating that the car Bryce had crashed in was reported stolen from a house in Buff Point.

They have requested the citizens to cooperate with the police and share their CCTV and dashcam footage from Buff Point and Norah Head (where the crash occurred) between 2 am and 3 am on Sunday, September 10, and contact authorities on the number 1800 333 000.
