Massachusetts, Easton native Daniel Dan Glover passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023, after battling injuries from a tragic fatal motorbike accident in Somerset at 44.
The terrible accident happened around 1:15 between a motorcycle and a car in the morning close to the Route 103 rotary, according to Somerset police, when they arrived on the scene: two people, one from each vehicle, lying on the road.
The motorcycle rider was identified as South Easton resident Daniel Glover, 44, and declared deceased on the spot. The other person, DeForitis, was then transported to a local hospital, where she was eventually pronounced dead by Somerset police after acting quickly. The car’s driver was also transported to the hospital as a precaution.
According to preliminary findings of the continuing inquiry, the motorcycle may have entered the roundabout in the wrong direction, which caused it to collide with the car.

Holly Zachos created a GoFunMe page for raising funds on behalf of Glover’s family to support Daniel’s kids and wife financially as they are going through a difficult time; she requested everyone and wrote in her statement that :
“The Glover family is suffering with a tragic loss; anyone who can assist the Glover family at this extraordinarily trying time. The goal is to lessen some of the stress and financial load that they might be experiencing as they navigate through this painful chapter of their lives.
The assistance will help Amanda and her kids, including their oldest son, DJ, who is presently enrolled in an out-of-state institution. We can all relieve the financial strain this awful death has caused by giving to this cause. All donations will be given directly to Amanda to assist with any costs associated with the loss of a loved one and the uncertainty that lies ahead.”
Additionally, as the family deals with this devastating event, this money will help them maintain a sense of normalcy. The campaign had started to earn a $30,000 goal and raised $18,241; anyone who wants to donate to the family can donate directly.
