The incident came to light at 6:21 a.m. when someone reported the discovery of a deceased person near 1600 S. Hollywood Boulevard, in the northeast corner of a baseball field. The police are currently looking into the circumstances surrounding this discovery, as the nature of the death appears to be suspicious.
In response to the situation, the Clark County School District took swift action. Students from Tim Harney Middle School and Kathleen Harney Middle School were temporarily relocated to Las Vegas High School for the day. The district assured everyone that neither the school nor the students were in immediate danger.
On Tuesday morning, a deceased person was found on the grounds of a school in the east Las Vegas Valley, leading to a police investigation. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the shared-use athletic grounds adjacent to Tim Harney Middle School and Kathleen Middle School.
The school district has emphasized that there is no imminent threat to the school or its students. Currently, no further information has been provided by the authorities, and the victim’s identity remains undisclosed. However, unknown resources claim that one of the School’s female students committed suicide and died as a result.
