Alabama: JaKeira Washington, a USA Health employee and former student of the University of South Alabama, Passed Away in a Motor vehicle Crash.
JaKeira Washington, a University of South Alabama alumna and patient service coordinator at USA Health from Mobile, Alabama, passed away following a deadly motor vehicle accident early Monday morning. She had a Basic Life Support (BLS) license with the American Red Cross Training Center.
What happened to JaKeira Washington?
JaKeira Washington was involved in a motor vehicle accident on Monday, January 15, 2024. According to the reports, the deadly crash happened at approximately 4 a.m. Washington sustained fatal injuries in the accident and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her best friend, Kambria Gaines, announced the sad news of her tragic demise in a post on social media, in which she paid heartfelt homage to her late best friend. “I am so heartbroken,” she wrote, “you will be forever missed JaKeira Washington.”
Who was JaKeira Washington?
JaKeira Washington was a bright young woman from Mobile, Alabama. Originally from Sweet Water, Alabama, she was an employee at USA Health and USA Mitchell Cancer Institute. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Health/Health Care
Administration/Management from the University of South Alabama. She decided to further her education and pursue a master’s degree at the University of West Alabama.
Aside from studies, she was involved in various activities and was a member of several groups at her university, including the Abeneefoo Kuo Honor Society, Alpha Kappa Sorority, Inc., the National Pan-Hellenic Council, and the Black Student Union. She was licensed in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Red Cross Training Services.
Washington is described as the life of the party. She was a humble and down-to-earth human being. She was a loyal friend and a very caring individual. She was committed to devoting her life to the service of humanity. Her devotion to the betterment of society was evident in her involvement with the Health Care system. She was a detail-oriented professional with a strong healthcare background. She was an expert in patient service coordination, insurance authorization, and more. She was gifted with communication skills, with which she would quickly gain the trust of her clients. She was indeed a one-of-a-kind person. The world shall never see her like again.
