What happened to Joe Benting?
Joe Benting went missing on Sunday, October 22, after leaving Bar in Easton on his white street bike. He has been found dead. His mother, Laura Sheehan Benting, took to social media and requested everyone’s cooperation in finding her son, who went missing on his way home from a bar in Easton.
In the post on social media, Laura said her son Joe Benting was missing. He was last seen Sunday night around 10:30 p.m., leaving a bar in Easton on his white bike with the description of clothes he was last seen wearing. She appealed to everyone to help them locate her son. The post read as:
“I need help, my son Joe Benting (23yo) is missing! Last seen Sunday night 10/22 @10:30pm leaving a bar in Easton on his white street bike heading home to Cedarville. I think joggers. He was wearing a plaid hoodie. The helmet white with gold skulls on it and the American flag face cover. He had his gray backpack. If you have seen him please message me!”
The community sent many text messages and offered their help. But their coordinated search could not save Joe Benting. He was found dead following a motorcycle accident. His mother, Laura, updated the community about his death in another post on social media that said,
“Joe has been found but hardly able to type this to report Joe crashed his motorcycle and did not survive. This will be my last post for a while and appreciate all the help searching for him and prayers. We need time as a family to process this.”
No further information regarding the accident is available at the moment.
