Recently, her family and friends reached out to the community through social media for help locating Katie England. They asked the community to be on the lookout for a 2017 Ford Explorer, which Katie was driving that day and gave her a description. Katie was last seen on Sunday, November 5, 2023, around 10:40 a.m. in Mansfield. They appealed to the community to notify them if the woman matching the description was spotted.
There was no sign of her till November 7, 2023. Her last phone record was Saturday at 11 p.m. to a friend, but there was no answer. She had not interacted on social media either. A traffic camera had spotted her vehicle on Sunday at 11:09 a.m. headed south of Broad &Main in Mansfield, Texas; this was the first camera that had spotted her since.
Their home does not have a ring camera, nor does the neighbors. She had a meeting on Monday afternoon, but she never showed up and did not notify her work either, despite being a committed employee. Family, friends, and the Police had searched every place she might have gone, including the family lake house, gravesites, hospitals, and jails. They did not leave any stone unturned. There were no money transactions in any of the family’s bank accounts. They humbly asked the community to be on the lookout for a vehicle with a “proud Air Force mom” decal on the back window.
The friends updated on November 7, around 6:30 p.m., that Katie had been found. Unfortunately, she had died. It is unclear when she died and what was the cause of her death. An investigation is underway to learn about the circumstances which led to her disappearance and untimely death.
