Kayla Onderko tragically lost her life in a car crash on December 10, 2023. She died at the age of 25 years old. The Memphis Police Department confirmed that Kayla’s death resulted from a car accident on Interstate 40.

She was travelling with her stepfather, Julius Weaver, when their car collided with a tractor-trailer around 4 a.m. on December 10. Both Kayla and Julius were pronounced dead at the scene. The police are investigating the crash, and details about the circumstances and the other driver remain undisclosed.

Kayla’s obituary expresses the deep sadness felt by those close to her, stating, “She was a great joy to all who knew her, and her end has left a void in the hearts of her family who loved her so much.” The family is enduring a profound loss.

Kayla was born on March 15, 1998, in Erie, Pennsylvania, graduated from McDowell High School in 2016 and studied business administration at Penn State University. She also had a passion for fashion and beauty, sharing tips on her blog and social media, where she had a dedicated fan base. Kayla is survived by her mother, Brooke Bailey; her father, Albert Onderko Jr.; and her stepfather, Julius Weaver.

She leaves behind siblings Albert III, Alyssa, Alexis, Alana, and Julius Jr. Her grandparents include June Sowry, Jerry Barnes, Joe Onderko, and Anna DeBolt, along with aunts Doris Bechtel and Deborah Ginkel, among many relatives and friends.
