Larry Koh, a prominent Singapore influencer, died in his sleep on Thursday, October 19, 2023. His death was confirmed by his twin brother Barry Koh in a post on social media that read,
“Larry passed away this morning in his sleep.
We are all devastated. I will inform you guys about his funeral in the coming days,”
He also shared the profound grief he and his parents are experiencing in this time of bereavement. Larry’s sudden and unexpected death has shocked his fans and left his family in deep mourning.
The greatest pain anyone can possibly suffer is the loss of a child. The experience doesn’t really change you; rather, it will completely demolish you,” Barry said. He acknowledged that his parents will spend the rest of the days of their lives “nursing a pain that will never go away.” He shared his feelings that how helpless he felt because there was nothing he could do to “remedy this pain.” Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends.
Who was Larry Koh?
Larry was a well-known social media influencer. He was known for his photography works and collaboration with brands like Daniel Willington, Ice Mountain, and Shein. He had over 50K followers on Instagram.
He graduated from Beatty Secondary School. Larry was a dedicated student. He studied Business Management at RMIT University, where he proved his academic prowess. He also studied at Ngee Ann Polythetic and worked at Zenyum Singapore. He was a former senior social media strategist at Lazada, where he honed his craft of winning over the masses with social media’s power. He also worked as a Business Development Manager at SpoonX.
He was an upstanding community member who loved exploring and sharing his adventures with the world through social media. He lived every moment of his life to the fullest. He loved his family. His family meant the world to him. Everyone loved him. His sudden, unexpected death has left a void in the lives of those who knew him and loved him.
Obituary and funeral
His brother Barry Koh announced the details of his wake on his Instagram Story. The wake will be held at the Church of St. Stephan in room 2. The visitation hours will be from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
The funeral cortege will leave on October 23, 2023, to Mandai Crematorium Hall 3 for cremation at 1:40 p.m.
