Lauren Carroll, a renowned name in the real estate industry, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 29, 2023, in Brookline, Massachusetts. She was vice president of the real estate agency

Compass‘ and founding partner of ‘The Montgomery Carroll Group’.

Who was Lauren Carroll?

Lauren Ramponi Carroll was the beloved daughter of Dianne L. Ramponi of Jamaica Plain and the late Preston A. Carroll. She was the loving wife of Robert E. O’Connor. Together, they have two sons, Preston Bayliss and Collin O’Connor. Lauren’s family was her whole world. She was a dedicated mother and a devoted wife. Their friends describe Lauren and Robert as the love of each other lives.

She was an accomplished woman in the real estate business for 14 years. She had built her business with her dedication and hard work. Her client’s best interest meant everything to her. She helped countless people with finding their dream homes. Her tireless efforts and commitment to her work enabled her to succeed and become a founding member of ‘The Montgomery and Carroll Group’, one of the best Boston’s premier residential real estate sales and marketing teams.

In an interview with a magazine, she said one of her best professional moments was buying her first home in her hometown, Brookline. She was raised in Brookline and had plans to raise her two sons there as well. She loved her family and would go to great lengths to spend time with them. Besides family, she loved travelling and watching her favourite shows on TV.

A family friend of Robert and Lauren has organized a GoFundMe page to help the family with the unexpected life expenses. The friend describes Robert and Lauren as the most generous people you could ever meet. They would do anything to help anyone and open their homes to those who need it in the blink of an eye. The friend has requested on behalf of the family to support them in this crucial time.The goal is set at 70,000 dollars. Over 68,000 dollars have been raised in less than 15 hours.

Obituary

Bell-O’Dea Funeral Home, Brookline, published her Obituary on the legacy website. The visitations will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Brookline, and her funeral will be on Friday, at 10:00 a.m. in the same church.
The family has requested that, instead of flowers, donations in memory of Lauren be made to her children’s education fund, Bayliss/O’Connor Education Fund, c/o Rockland Trust.
