Matteo Sachman was attacked with a sharp object at a subway station in New York City while he was waiting for the train. Witnesses describe the scene as chaotic, causing panic. According to the Police, he was critically injured by an “unknown cutting instrument” around 8:50 p.m. on Monday, January 1, 2024. He was rushed to the St. Barnabas Hospital in critical condition, where he remained fighting for his life Tuesday morning.
