Nick Hill passed away; A tragic car accident claimed the life of a Mt. Pleasant, Michigan resident.
Who was Nick Hill?
Nick Hill was born Nicholas Lee Hill on January 13, 1988, in Alma. He was the son of Mark and Andrea Hill. Nick graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in 2006.
Nick started working with his father on drywall and trucks after graduating. He was an upstanding citizen. He had a strong sense of work ethic and a passion for fitness.
Nick was an arm wrestler and had won many competitions, even the state title. Nick loved his family and was very close to them. He also was compassionate towards animals.
What happened to Nick Hill?
Nick was driving a Ford pickup truck when he met with a tragic accident near the Meridian and Deerfield roads intersection in Union Township.
He had not fastened his seatbelt and had gotten ejected from the vehicle due to the accident. The Isabella County sheriff’s deputies were called for a vehicle rollover.
Upon arrival, they found the driver of the rolled-over vehicle lying on the ground, unresponsive. He was pronounced dead before the medical helicopter arrived to transport him to the hospital. He was 35 years old.
Isabella County Sheriff’s Office received assistance from the Mobile Medical Response and Mt. Pleasant Fire Department. A toxicology report is being done to investigate the accident further.

Whoever knew Nick loved him. He touched many lives. Many shared their grief and paid their respect to the family.
Tiffany Rhode wrote on social media,
“If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever.
Rest in heaven my angel, until we meet again.”
Randall Fredrick Alexander wrote,
“ Tell your friends you love them. You never know when it’s going to be the last time. Thanks for all the memories and thank you for teaching me as much as you did while I knew you. Res easy Nick Hill. You made one hell of an impact on everyone’s lives.”
His family is overwhelmed by the love and support the community is pouring for them.
His sister, Chelsea Rea, wrote on social media:
“I am grateful for the outpouring of love. Keep sharing all of the memories and pictures. I’m so mad that’s all we have to hold onto without him here.
Nick, you’ve always been my protector. My invincible big brother. I don’t know when this will feel real. – with Andrea Hill and Nick Hill.”
