Philippines: A young drummer of Christian Music band Pulse-Driven, Shane Ferrer, died after battling cancer.
Shane Ferrer, a young drummer of Christian Music band Pulse-Driven (Drumming Experience), has reported died after battling with illness. The band shared the sad news of her untimely demise in a post on their Facebook account. The post read as,
“It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of our fellow drummer and sister in Christ, Shane Ferrer.” the band said, “We believe she is now with our maker, enjoying and worshiping God.” The band also extended their heartfelt prayers to her family.
Who was Shane Ferrer?
Shane Ferrer was a promising young woman who had devoted her life to the service of Christ. She was a true believer. She was a drummer in the Christian band Pulse Driven, a band dedicated to advocating and spreading the love of Jesus Christ.
According to the band, she had been with the band ‘since the beginning,’ “sharing her unique style and enthusiasm in drumming.” She supported the group and made sure she was there at every Drum Jam and Fellowship.
She was an integral part of the band. She poured her heart and soul into the band through her limitless talent. She was a loyal friend and always greeted everyone with an infectious smile. She was known for her kindness and devotion to God. Her enthusiasm endeared her to her friends and colleagues. All those who had the privilege of knowing her will deeply feel her absence.
What happened to Shane Ferrer?
According to a friend of hers, Judz Elevera, she had been battling cancer. The Pulse-Driven band also mentioned in their post that “she has fought a great fight.” She had bravely fought the battle against cancer and had overcome it as well. But unfortunately, she was diagnosed with Pneumothorax, Pneumonia, and COVID-19 recently. Withered from her battle with cancer, she could not defeat another disease. She could not survive and passed away. Her band said in the post, “No more pain, no more stress & worries. We will see you in the rapture, Shane!”
Obituary and Funeral
Shane Ferrer’s family will release her obituary and provide details of her funeral when they have made appropriate arrangements. They are currently taking time to heal from their inconsolable loss. All are requested to respect the family’s mourning and allow them the time to recover from their immeasurable loss.
