The Coroner’s Office and Austin Police Department are looking into a sad event on Wednesday night, October 11, 2023. A male student of The University of Texas at Austin committed suicide by jumping from the sixth floor of the Waterloo Apartments in Austin.

Law enforcement officials arrived and found the man’s body near the apartment’s entrance on Seton Avenue, near the Waterloo Apartment Complex, and the Austin Police Department verified the student’s death.
