GoFundMe
Janeta Garver has created a GoFundMe page on behalf of the Smith Family for Tristan’s funeral services; she wrote in a statement that:
“I’m Janeta Garver. My cousin, who tragically lost her youngest son, Tristan, in a vehicle accident, is the beneficiary of this campaign I am organizing. He was hit by a car in the parking lot at the mall. I hope this may ease the family’s financial load during this sad time.
As most people don’t plan for this, especially for someone so young, I am only asking for money to pay funeral costs and time off work for Mom to grieve. Tristan had a long life ahead of him at just 12 years old. The family will be grateful for anything as we try to lessen the load a catastrophe like this imposes.”
The campaign has started to earn $10,000 goals, and the page has raised $1,950; anyone who wants to donate can donate their funds directly and help the Smith family in this difficult time.
Prayers for the Young boy; Rest in Peace, Tristan Smith.
