A young man from Winston Xavier, from Jacksonville, Florida, lost his life in a car accident.
Winston Xavier Bonnett, a 22-year-old student and fashion model from Jacksonville, Florida, died in a crash on Monday, October 2, 2023. The community mourns the loss of its members at such a young age. They showed unwavering support for the family of the deceased.
His heartbroken father, Darrell Bonnett Sr., wrote on social media,
“I’m not taking any phone calls today because I’m just a bag of tears right now. I appreciate all the calls and support, but right now, I’m just thinking about my son Winston Xavier.”
What happened to Winston Xavier Bonnett?
Winston Xavier was involved in an accident on October 2, around 1:09 a.m., that claimed his life. He was driving a sedan on Interstate 95, Highway, when he lost control of his vehicle and veered off the road. He was driving on the southbound Exit 289 ramp when the vehicle deviated to the left and went off the road until it hit a tree and stopped.
The door on the vehicle’s driver’s side slammed into the tree, fatally injuring Winston. Emergency units rushed to his aid, but his injuries were severe. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Who was Winston Xavier Bonnett?
Winston Xavier Bonnett was a bright young man. He graduated from William M. Raines High School. He was studying Mass Communication-Broadcasting at Bethune-Cookman University. He loved dancing. He was a man of faith. He led his life in the light of faith and was a Tenor at ONE Way Youth Ministries.
He was also a fashion model featured in NY Fashion Week festival magazine and was selected to walk in New York Fashion Week 2023. He announced on May 11 in a post on his social media that said,
“When you understand that God is never late, you wait differently! So excited to announce I have been HAND PICKED to walk in New York Fashion Week 2023. Thank you for all of the support, I’m beyond grateful for this opportunity!”
Obituary and Funeral
Winston Xavier Bonnett’s family will release his obituary and share details of his funeral later. They are currently suffering from the immense pain of losing their loved one.
