Michael Adebolajo, a British national and a convicted follower of Islam, gained notoriety for killing British soldier Lee Rigby in May 2013. Rigby, a member of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, was brutally murdered in an act of terrorism, leading to Adebolajo receiving a life sentence.

Contrary to recent online speculation, the “Michael Adebolajo’s Death” reports are unfounded. Adebolajo is serving his life sentence at HMP Woodhill in Buckinghamshire, near Milton Keynes.

Fusilier Lee Rigby’s killer, Michael Adebolajo, is alive and incarcerated. Despite the sensationalized headlines, he remains imprisoned and is not deceased. Adebolajo, known for his heinous collaboration with Michael Adebowale in the crime against Lee Rigby, is labeled as one of the most dangerous prisoners in Britain.

The tragic incident occurred on May 22, 2013, as Fusilier Lee Rigby was returning to Woolwich barracks from duty at the Tower of London. At around 2:20 pm, the perpetrators intentionally struck Rigby with their vehicle upon spotting him wearing a Help 4 Heroes hoodie.

About Michael Adebolajo

Born into a Christian household in Lambeth, Michael Olumide Adebolajo attended Marshalls Park School and Havering Sixth Form College before studying sociology at the University of Greenwich.

Adebolajo had a history of involvement in extreme Islamist activities, dating back to 2003, according to radical Muslim cleric Anjem Choudary. He was previously detained at a violent protest but later released.

In 2010, Adebolajo, using the name Michael Olemendis Ndemolajo and a British passport, was detained in Kenya along with five others. Kenyan authorities suspected his intent to train with al-Shabaab, an al-Qaeda-affiliated militant organization. He was deported to British officials with no charges pressed against him.

On May 25, 2013, Adebolajo’s friend Abu Nusaybah revealed on BBC Newsnight that Adebolajo had been regularly questioned by the British Security Service (MI5). Adebolajo claimed he was approached to collaborate with MI5 but declined. After his detention, he alleged experiencing sexual assault and torture by Kenyan forces.

On May 31, 2013, Adebolajo faced charges of possessing a handgun and attempting to kill police officers after being released from the hospital. In a June 3 court appearance, he requested to go by the name Mujahid Abu Hamza and later lost both front teeth while in custody at Belmarsh Prison on July 17.

In summary, Michael Adebolajo is alive and serving a life sentence for the brutal murder of Fusilier Lee Rigby. Reports of his death are false, and he remains a notable figure due to his involvement in the tragic 2013 incident.
