Nausheen Masood, a Renowned Pakistani Drama Actress Died of Cancer

Nausheen Masood, a Pakistani actress, television producer, and host, went suddenly following a protracted fight with cancer on December 6, 2023.

She was well known for performing in the comedy-drama “Dolly Ki Ayegi Barat.” Nausheen Masud’s ex-husband, Tariq Qureshi, confirmed her death cause. She had cancer and had been receiving treatment for a while. Her two boys and her current spouse, Imran, are among the bereaved.

Tariq Quraishi revealed her passing on Facebook and wrote, “My ex-wife, Nausheen Masud, passed away this morning after a long and tough battle with cancer. She loved her two sons immensely. They were her babies, her advisors, and her eyes lit up whenever she saw them. May she rest in peace, leaving behind wonderful memories for her sons.”

Nausheen Masood completed her undergraduate studies in industrial design at St. Joseph’s College in Karachi. She hosted many Television shows, including Andaz Apna Apna, and she appeared in several drama serials, including Jaal, Colony 1952, Ghar To Akhir Apna Hai, and Dolly Ki Aaye Gi Baaraat.

In addition to directing music videos for several well-known singers, such as Shahzad Rai, Junaid Jamshed, Aamir Zaki, Jawad Ahmed, and the band Junoon, Nausheen Masud is a talented filmmaker.

Co-actor Adnan Siddiqui sent a poignant farewell to the outstanding performer and remembered her as a close friend with a beautiful spirit as he announced the tragic news of her passing on the social networking site X.

In his message, Siddiqui expressed thanks for the treasured moments they co-created and wished Masud a good rest, acknowledging the charm she offered both on and off-screen. Social media have poured with prayers and tributes.

Further details regarding her funeral and obituary have not been disclosed on social media. However, Nausheen was the most-liked actress in the Pakistan Showbiz industry. Her legacy will always endure. Prayers for her. Rest in Peace, Nausheen Masood.
