Ilerioluwa Oladimeji, better known by his stage as Mohbad, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at the age of 27. Mohbad was a rapper, singer, and composer from Lagos, Nigeria.

Mohbad’s death cause is unknown yet. As per Wikipedia and POOJA’s statement on Twitter, Mohbad allegedly passed away from an ear infection.
According to a member of the singer’s crew, he visited the hospital early on Tuesday for treatment and received an injection there. They claim Mohbad did not awaken after passing out shortly after receiving the injection.
A source from the Mohbad team stated that he took a trip to the hospital for treatment, after which he was administered an injection.
He passed out shortly after the injection and unfortunately did not wake up.

Everyone remembered that Bella Shmurda once acknowledged his mental health issues, but no official statement regarding his death cause has been made publicly.His death news has been released on many famous singers and official pages.
Social media have been full of prayers and sympathies on the loss of a talented young guy. Thoughts and Condolences to his family, friends, and community in this trying time; his funeral and burial details have not been released yet.
Who was Mohbad
Mohbad was born in Lagos on June 8, 1996. In Lagos, he finished both his primary and secondary studies. As his fan base kept expanding, he was regarded as one of Nigeria’s music industry’s emerging talents.
After agreeing to a record deal with Marlian Records World in 2019, Mohbad released his debut EP, Light. The EP’s eight songs include performances by Lil Kesh, Davido, and Naira Marley.
He was one of the top 21 Afrobeat performers of 2021, according to Audiomack. He released Peace in 2022, which Rexxie produced. He reached the top 50 of the TurnTable charts in 2021 and the top 100 in 2022.
He was most known for his popular tracks with Rexxie, including Ponmo, Feel Good, and KPK (Ko Por Ke), which received three nominations for The Headies Awards in 2022.
Mohbad has worked with many famous musicians, such as Lil Kesh, Bella Shmurda, Davido, Zlatan, Oladips, Small Doctor, Lil Frosh, etc. Mohbad was known for his funny, approachable poems covering many daily events.
