Multiple law enforcement agencies are looking into a sad occurrence that occurred on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at the Pell City Walmart in an act that shocked the community today. A 45-year-old Alabama male from Pell City has committed suicide and was found dead on the scene.
According to Coroner Dennis Russell‘s records, the individual suffered self-inflicted gunshot wounds that caused his death. In the Walmart parking lot in Pell City, he was discovered to have committed suicide. As they looked into the circumstances behind the man’s death, the area was cordoned off.
The Law enforcement requested to the residents that: “Please do not enter the Walmart parking lot by the front or main entrance. There is a medical emergency of some kind going on there.”
