Sliman Bensmaia, renowned Neuroscientist and permanent resident of Chicago, Illinois, passed away suddenly on Friday, August 11, 2023.

The exact cause of his death has not been made public, Bensmaia’s friends and well-wishers have sent their sympathies to his family through social media.
