Who was Terri Facci?
Terri Facci was an only child of Dolores (Lefebvre) Facci of North Smithfield and the late Anthony P. Facci. She was born in Butler, Pennsylvania. She spent most of her childhood in Woonsocket and moved to North Smithfield in 2005.
She graduated high school in 1978. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Outdoor Recreation from
UMaine-Presque Isle and her Master of Arts in Teaching from Roger William University. She was pursuing her Master’s program in primary Education when tragedy struck, and she passed away.
Terri Facci was a Third-grade teacher at Globe Park School in the Woonsocket School Department. She was fondly called ‘Miss Facci’ by her pupils. Her tragic death robbed the innocent students of their beloved teacher, who taught them with kindness and care.
Facci was an adventurer, and her teaching career also included teaching outdoor education seminars for Eastern Mountain Sports, where she worked for a long time. She loved camping, kayaking, and hiking and boosted completing a large portion of the Appalachian Trail.
She coached Woonsocket Softball for twelve years and was a Globe Park Parent Teacher Association member. She also volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. She loved animals and had two pets named Talkeetna and Maka. She also loved golf.
What happened to Terri Facci?
According to the local accounts, she died following an incident allegedly connected to the infamous haunted Conjuring House. The property is known as a Historical Landmark in Burrillville, Rhode Island. The Conjuring House is known for its accounts of paranormal activity and deaths connected to the property many years ago. The alleged haunted house was sold for $1.525 million.
What happened to The Conjuring House?
The Conjuring House was bought by a well-known Boston developer, Jacqueline Nunez, in May 2022. The property was renovated and is being used for business. It offers guided tours (for one hour) around the property for 25 dollars for guests above the age of 13 and 20 dollars for children ages 7-12 to experience the alleged otherworldly presence on the property.
They also offer the guests the opportunity to experience the house overnight. It includes an evening tour and a stay at the house. For a couple, the price is 300 dollars; for a group of up to six, it costs 960 dollars per night Sunday through Thursday or 1,280 dollars per night Friday and Saturday for groups of up to eight.
