A legend in the world of professional wrestling was Terrence Funk, also known as Terry, who was born in Hammond, Indiana, on June 30, 1944.
He was the son of professional wrestler and promoter Dory Funk and Dorothy (Culver). Funk’s family moved to Amarillo, Texas, when World War II ended, and Terry and his brother, Dory Jr., grew up in the professional wrestling industry there.
