Tim Membrey, St Kilda Football Club Player: Suicide Rumors and Mental Health Issues

The rumors had been spread on social media about the Suicide attempt of Tim Membrey, an Australian Rules Football (ARF) player of the St Kilda Football Club.

Fans and admirers are showing concern for Membrey’s life and health issues; rumors occurred on social media about Membrey’s death and Suicide attempt when a YouTube channel published a video implying that Tim had attempted Suicide, the incident attracted greater attention, but luckily, it’s just a piece of fake news.

St Kilda Football Club has announced that Membrey is still alive, he is currently suffering from mental health issues and depression, for which he is taking treatment, and he is in good care.

St Kilda Football Club replaced Tim Membrey with Anthony Caminiti and requested that Membrey’s family need some space at this time, and no further information has been disclosed yet.

Prayers for his speedy recovery. Many of Membrey’s fellow players and friends confirmed his mental health illness through Twitter posts AFL Information, Trade Rumors wrote on Facebook that:

“I’m considering you, Timmy Membrey. A few years back, shortly before Covid struck, I had the honor of meeting Tim Membrey. Timmy was encouraging and polite, and we had a terrific conversation.

According to Saints assistant Lenny Hayes, Tim missed because of mental health issues. Tim is a fantastic human being and a brilliant player, which is why he is one of my favorite players. We’re all here for you, Timmy, and we love you.”

Know About Tim Membrey

Tim Membery was born on 26 May 1994; he attended St. Gabriel’s Primary School while growing up in Traralgon. Membrey was a Traralgon Auskick participant, a junior football player for the Traralgon Football Club, and the captain of the Gippsland Power.

Membrey is a well-known player in Australian Rules football; he is presently playing with the St Kilda Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL) and is noted for his style of play. He wears the number 28 on his jersey and has a stellar athletic career.

Membrey’s entry into the AFL as a professional began when the Sydney Swans selected him with the 46th overall choice in the 2012 AFL Draft. Before joining St. Kilda Football Club in 2015, he had a considerable effect when playing for the Swans from 2013 to 2014.
